Academics

Academics and Comprehensive Development

Education transcends the traditional boundaries of textbooks and academic materials. Our approach seamlessly integrates the CBSE protocols while prioritizing the comprehensive development of each and every student.

Our focus goes beyond simply imparting knowledge. We strive to nurture curiosity, instill discipline, and foster a strong academic foundation. We care for, guide, and educate our students, creating a supportive and stimulating environment where they can thrive.

A Structured Approach to Learning

Our commitment to academic excellence is reflected in our well-defined academic organization and educational principles. One visible aspect of this is our uniform schedule, designed to promote a sense of belonging and unity within the school community.

Uniform Schedule at a Glance

  • School Uniform: Worn on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
  • House Uniform: Worn on Wednesday and Friday, fostering a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition.
  • Shoes: Black shoes, meticulously polished, are mandatory.
  • Socks: Dark Navy Blue socks are to be worn at all times.
  • School Belt: Students from Nursery to Class X are to wear the designated school belt.
Importance of Identification:

We place a strong emphasis on security and identification within the school and students are required to wear their ID cards every day and at all times, whether within the school building, on educational trips, during outings, and even on their birthdays. Each student receives an ID card and tag annually, and we urge parents to ensure these items are kept safe. Replacements for lost, misplaced, or damaged cards will be provided for a nominal charge.

Adherence to the Dress Code:
Adherence to the dress code is paramount in maintaining a disciplined and respectful learning environment. Students are expected to wear the correct uniform, including shoes, shirts, socks, trousers, and belts. Failure to comply with the uniform policy can result in consequences such as fines or assigned tasks. In cases of repeated or flagrant violations, parents may be contacted to take the child home.

Our Commitment:

We are dedicated to providing a comprehensive education that extends beyond academic books and exams. We believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also possess the character, discipline, and curiosity to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

Central to the student experience at Oasis is the vibrant house system. Forged to foster discipline, efficiency, and unity, students are assigned to one of four houses:
  • Akash
  • Agni
  • Brahmos
  • Pruthvi
Throughout the academic year, these houses compete in a diverse range of events encompassing academics, sports, arts, and community service. This dynamic system not only cultivates a healthy spirit of competition but also nurtures teamwork, leadership skills, and an unwavering sense of school spirit among students of all grade levels.

Age-Appropriate Learning: Dedicated Wings

To ensure a tailored learning experience, Oasis employs a wing system, grouping students based on their developmental stage:

  • Pre-Primary Wing (Nursery to UKG): This vibrant space focuses on building foundational skills through sensory learning and joyful play.
  • Primary Wing (Classes I–IV): Here, curiosity is fostered, values are instilled, and basic concepts are explored through engaging, activity-based learning.

  • Secondary Wing (Classes VIII–X): This wing focuses on deep subject mastery, exam preparation, and personality development, equipping students for higher education and beyond.

Experienced coordinators oversee each wing, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition system and providing individual attention to every student.
